Classes run Tuesday afternoon from 4pm- 5.30pm

Each Class is $46 + Materials
This includes:
-Two Teachers
-Venue and Insurance Costs
-Snack and drink
-Quality Materials at Cost Price

This class is designed for our Prep to Grade 6's. We ask that the parents or caregivers be on the premise at all times.

​

Our goal with this class is to create an environment where the kids can engage with different material and experiences from STEM, art, and craft. From that discovering their artistic and scientific side. All the while being crafty to their fullest. Though most of all to have fun and be themselves.
 

There will be a small snack and a drink provided for the kids as well as tea, coffee, and water for the adults.

    Students will learn the skills needed to create their own pinch pots with a whistle feature. They will be using air dry clay so they can take their projects home with them to finish drying out. This will be a fun relaxed class where students are only limited by their imagination.

    This week students will be given several Design Challenges. The Challenges will have them Designing, Creating, Making, Testing and Refining their ideas and creations. They will be working on their communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.

    Students will learn how to make their own String Art piece. They will create a design. Hammer nails in the shape of the design into a wooden board. Then using string or thread, weave it around the nails to make their picture pop. Students will take this home at the end of class.

    Students will learn about 3 different types of paper aircraft - plane, helicopter and hoop. They will learn how to make them out of paper them put them through testing and experiments. Students will then create their own design and test it out.
