Runs Thursdays from 4.30 pm - 6pm
 

Each class is $46 + Materials
This includes:

This is designed for our creatives and innovators in Grade 7 - Grade 12.

​

We help build on the skills already learnt and provide opportunities for them to explore their creativity and uniqueness. 

​

We aim to give them the opportunity to explore what it means to be them. Connecting them to others of like mind and enthusiasm.

​

Parents and/or caregivers will need to be on the premise the entire time. We provide tea and coffee for the adults and refreshments for the students.

    Students will learn the skills needed to create their own pinch pots with a whistle feature. They will be using air dry clay so they can take their projects home with them to finish drying out. This will be a fun relaxed class where students are only limited by their imagination.

    This week students will be given several Design Challenges. The Challenges will have them Designing, Creating, Making, Testing and Refining their ideas and creations. They will be working on their communication, teamwork and problem solving skills.

    Students will learn how to make their own String Art piece. They will create a design. Hammer nails in the shape of the design into a wooden board. Then using string or thread, weave it around the nails to make their picture pop. Students will take this home at the end of class.

    Students will learn the difference between zendoodle and zentangle. They will learn the different techniques, then practice drawing and creating them. After they will design and create their own masterpiece to take home.

    Students will learn about 3 different types of paper aircraft - plane, helicopter and hoop. They will learn how to make them out of paper them put them through testing and experiments. Students will then create their own design and test it out.
